Golden Mile & Baghdad Street (3rd Aug 2006)

Hehe Dear brought me to Golden Mile "Little Thailand" for dinner. We had thai food! Haha. Seems as if we r back to Bangkok! Anyway we went Golden Mile with the intention to check out coach n tour packages to KL. But coz we wanna go in Oct, the price listings arent out yet. So we end up juz getting the agencies name cards. But we enjoyed ourselves walking ard, seeing loser Ang Mohs (Old n fat, but loaded) picking up thai girls, went to the thai supermarket, seeing all the usual thai snacks n hearing thai music. Haha.


we had clear tom yam soup (non-spicy but still has the usual tom yam taste), minced prawn stuffed in chicken wing on hotplate, brocoli with scallops n mushrooms n ice milk tea, the tea is nice! it has some vanilla taste in it too.


The 1st row of shophses we saw when we crossed over from Golden Mile.


the adjacent row of shophses. the tall building is of roman architecture i think. i rmb walking past it w Lion b4 n we saw some gargoyles looking sculptures at the top. my sis say her DHL regional office owns a no of levels in this building. hee.


Sultan mosque at the end of Baghdad street. It looks big from here.

We saw a shop near the end of the street. this shop sells retro toys. then we wanted to buy this stick game. when we went in to pay i realised it was the shop Zhuzhu n Wansean went. We took a few pics on our own. N when the shopkeeper saw us taking pics rite, he actually came to take fotos for us. N show us ard n how to take gd pics. haha.

hehe. U can look thru this to watch a film in the olden days. lol.

The coke can collection. Got the latest world cup series too. The shopkeeper made me stand there n take this pic. lol. not too bad.


this scooter is placed in the backyard of this shop. i love this pic. i love to ride pillon to Dear Dear. :)


the shopkeeper seems to be able to tell i like this scooter a lot. in fact most of the time he ask Dear to take pics of me. lol. do i look so narcissistic?

so many toys. got so many m&m toys. i got 2 m&m toys at home too. hehe.


i like this m&m toy the most. coz it looks so tired n cute. like me most of the time these days. haha. n he's yellow. n he's wearing a pair of shoes that looks like a teddy bear face. lol.

This shop is called Grandfather's Collections. It opens daily from 10am to 10pm. Dealers in old fashion antiquities, curios, memorabilia, paraphernalia & collectibles. hehe. if u wanna get rid of ur old stuffs they may buy fr u too. hehe. it's situated near the main entrance to Sultan Mosque. Do visit if u free!

we left the place feeling so yi yi bu she. hehe. after which we went to walk ard n took a bus back fr bugis. Nice nite out!
